The composition of a power battery includesthe following parts:

4. Battery management system (BMS): inorder to improve the utilization of the battery, prevent overcharging andover-discharging, and extend the service life of the battery, the batterystatus is monitored. Its main functions include: real-time monitoring of the physicalparameters of the battery, battery status estimation, online diagnosis andwarning, charging, discharging and pre-charge control, balancing management andthermal management, etc.
